VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The National Association of Community Electricity Users-Nepal (NACEUN) is a national federation of Community Rural Electricity Entities (CREEs). Since its establishment NACEUN has grown into a strong network comprising of over 300+ CREEs from 55 districts in Nepal. There are 17 district chapters and 6 province chapters of NACEUN. NACEUN have been working on promoting productive end-use of clean energy through electric cooking and enterprise promotion, and increasing per capita consumption of energy. NACEUN also advocates for enabling policies by collaborating with different agencies keen on similar interests.
NACEUN seeks to recruit dynamic and skilled people to work for “Sustainable Market Development of Electric Cooking in Nepal” in the following position:
Gender Expert

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Gender and social science, human rights and/or related field of study
- At least three years experience in the related field of study along with the knowledge in gender issues, and social justice principles
- Experience in facilitating gender empowerment training programs for diverse participatants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibility of the Gender Expert
- Review the existing training module/materials of Agency based developed by the previous project and compile as per the context
- Conduct agency based gender empowerment trainings for women associated with LMDs, CREEs, and other CBOs based on the training module
- Facilitate discussion, group activities, and relevant exercise to encourage active participation
- Provide detail guidance to CFO and FA to ensure gender and social inclusion in the project delivery
- Prepare training reports along with recommendations for the further improvement in training
